Ever since I was little I was interested in everything , I then discovered that this means that I'm interested in science. I am now in grade eleven and I have took all the necessary courses to get me into a science/engineering university.

I've been wondering if this path is hard or easy, If it was worth taking. my whole life I wanted to help out humanity in one way or another. could some one please help me with this ? the problems I'm having is ,should I go into engineering or science or is there some other things that I don't know about. Could any successful deviants share there stories?

from what I herd I like engineering because you get to see your creations come to life within a month or so ,while with scientist you could be studying a subject for your whole life and not finding it , or an out lander finds your answer before you do.

I'm just a student unsure of what I want to get into and would like to educate my self a little bit. I have already Goolged , career cruised and what not.

Do you have to go to a good school to find a good job ? or can I go to any engineering school?

Do these fields pay above 50,000 CAD after 5 years in the field?

Do I need a 80% average to be acepted any where?

what is the best way to get into a military job (designing fighter jets ,guns , bombs/missiles [aerospace/mechanical])

Are these jobs boring ?

Are these jobs rewarding ?

Where is the best place to ask these questions?

I live in the toronto area (canada) I have my heart set out for water loo , but if I don't get in ,is it the end of the world ,can I reapply again , take another year of high school , go to any school with the same courses that would accept me.

I don't really know what science to get into , is that something you wing when choosing your courses or , because I honestly don't know anything as long as I get to play with top of the line equipment to bring humanity into the future (ranging from faster computers to healthier big mac's)

these are some questions that are off the top of my head , if you have any other useful information please share.


please don't say to Google it , I have spent countless hours Googleing , networking , interviewing and even going to watch some of these jobs.
